Children's Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry Mission is dedicated to telling the next generation of the His praiseworthy deeds, power and the wonders He has done and to teaching our children to love the Lord fully, with all their hearts, soul and strength (Psalm 78:4, Deuteronomy 6:5).

Our VISION for our children is for them to -

  • Go and Grow with God & in their Gifts
  • Go & Generate the Gospel
  • Go & Give God Glory

Some Safety Measures we purpose to follow are:

  • Background screening on all adult volunteers
  • Christian teachers who are committed to the Lord and to loving children and teaching them Biblical truths
  • TWO teachers and/or helpers in each class
  • Parent sign in and out for classes Nursery to K-3
  • Children with communicable illness will not be admitted to class. If a child is determined to be ill, the parent will be notified and asked to pick up their child.

We offer classes for every age group and seek to minister to kiddos of all backgrounds and needs. Our curriculums are centered around knowing and building relationship with Jesus through the teaching of His Word. Below is more information about each of our children’s classes.

Our Nursery is here to care for infants and toddlers through two years of age. It is our priority to model the heart and loving arms of Jesus and be a safe place for your babies. Our volunteers are amazing and our babies love them.

Each week, your babies will have a playtime, a healthy snack, and a Hands-On-Bible lesson including things to touch and activities such as songs, rhymes, and prayers.

Parents are welcome to stay with your babies so that you and your child can get to know us. We also have a “cry room” with audio access to the service as well as a CHANGING STATION complete with huggies and wipies.

Our Pre-K class is for 3 and 4 year olds (3 year olds must be potty trained and able to communicate).

“Knowing Jesus” Bible lessons are taught so that our kiddos can, at early ages, grow to have a real and active relationship with Jesus as Lord and Savior. The class time makes room for a variety of activities such as sharing their “news”, praying, snacking, crafting , and singing.

We follow Jesus’ example to welcome children to come to Him and we are seeing Him working in the hearts of our  Pre-K children. We have had some tender prayer times, passionate worship times, as well as a Storehouse Ministry birthed in the heart of one of our Pre-Ker’s. Pretty awesome.

K-3 is for kinder through 3rd graders, for ages 5 (by August) through 8.

“Answers for Kids” lessons are taught in order to build a strong Biblical foundation. They are encouraged to memorize God’s Word, to pray and to discover and use their gifts. They are not too young to hear from the Lord, to serve Him and they have amazed us with their understanding of the Word.

Recently, we started a kids’ worship discipleship team. They met together for discipleship training and to work together to choreograph a song. Soon other teams will start so kids can use their gifts to serve as His church.

Our 46’ers class is for 4th through 6th graders, for ages 9 (by August) to 11.

We use the Answers Bible Curriculum to help pre-teens grow in their relationship with Christ, to understand how to study the Bible and apply it to their daily lives and also, to equip them and give them confidence to defend their faith.

The 46’ers class is encouraged to discover their “Spiritual Gifts” (gifts given to us by the Holy Spirit) and to know that God has uniquely shaped them for a specific calling to minister. They have opportunities to serve as volunteers in the Pre-K class and have also learned and led lessons or parts of a lesson, for their peers as well as for community outreach.
